Charles Ives - The Unanswered Question (Strings Only)

This isn't truly a strings only version of The Unanswered Question. I took the first minute or so of strings, right before the first horn comes in, and repeated that section a couple times. It was hard to mix so you'll probably notice when the first clip ends and the next begins, even though they fade into each other. To keep the piece true to its name, I included the last horn piece at the end of the song, so there still is an "unanswered question." (I realize and understand Ives' intent wasn't to have just the strings, but I, along with many other people, have wanted to hear the strings section by itself. This piece accomplishes that as best as I could do, and is not intended to replace or defame the original version.) All copyrights belong to their respective owners.
