Raccoon Arrow Quiver Build: Part 1

This is part one on how I make arrow quivers from animal skins. This works with any mammal skin that tries into relatively tough rawhide, like deer, elk, moose, bison, otter, beaver, bobcat, coyote and more. This lets you be opportunistic with fresh roadkill or whatever you hunt. For short bow arrows, even mink skins can be used. Because this is a rawhide quiver, no tanning is needed, which makes making these much easier. The untanned rawhide is more rigid, so it offers more protection to the arrows inside. Pictured in the thumbnail is a badger skin quiver I have used for about 6 years.
