Tibia - Fracture - Intramedullary Nailing with the Expert Tibial Nail (Without Reaming)

This video shows the patient positioning, reduction, the approach and entry point, and the procedure for nailing using the Expert Tibial Nail of broken tibia and fibula. The Expert Tibial Nail can be inserted into the medullary canal either with or without reaming. In this presentation reaming is not demonstrated. Intramedullary nailing using the Angular Stable Locking System results in a more stable implant-bone construct which provides a better hold in the metaphyseal area and in poor quality bone.
