So this is it... I never would have guessed that I would be able to do this about a year ago not even speaking about being able to record my gameplay. To me this fight is very special and killing Alatreon with anything besides Hammer always seemed so unreal. I havent seen any other videos of people doing G-Rank Alatreon with HBG solo up to this point, so yea. A few things about the fight itself: First of all, if you are using a gun/bow, dont use Weakness Exploit, it wont activate ever. The hitzone values are just too bad for it to activate for gunners. You should make sure to either use a set that grants you significant damage increases or being able to play much more aggressive and overall better than me. This fight is the major reason as to why Idont recommend sieging. If you remove the limiter of a HBG, it will significantly increase it's damage, while removing it's ability to siege. You shouldn't worry about how many shots you can fire continouisly but rather using you ammo efficiently. Do I recommend using a gun/bow on Alatreon? If you are willing to grind out a good set, yes.
