In this video series, I'll be replacing the fuel pump assembly and doing routine maintenance to my 2011 Yamaha TMAX 500. The service manual recommends a major service every 12,000 miles and a valve clearance check at 26,600 miles. My TMAX is at almost 28,000 miles, and the last major service was at 12,000 miles, so it's time to dig in. In part 4, I'm focusing on the CVT (continuously variable transmission). I'll show you the complete disassembly, cleaning, checking, lubrication and reassembly process along with belt replacement and a little refinishing of a worn torque driver.
