Let me walk you through how I built a life-size R2-D2 in 10 days. These files are from Mr. Baddeley patreon. My intent was to build a droid with no paint, or bonding. Yes there are seams, no it's not as shiny as some and it doesn't drive around. But hey, I 3D printed a colored full scale R2 unit in only 10 days!
