This is part 1 or 3 of my quick visit to the enchanting country of Bulgaria. After going through immigration across the border from Romania, I had a different guide Roma, who first took me to the medieval town of Arbanasi and showed me the small community, as well as the monastery. Then we traveled to the main town of Veliko Tarnovo, a charming city with amazing views especially along the hills and the Tsarevets. The old town is also a good place to explore, with shops where I bought souvenirs, as well as good restaurants. Visited June 2024.
