My goal was simple: to create a unique, ambient ASMR session, capturing the eerie, desolate sounds of this 215-room decaying structure. The Breakdown: Silence Shattered The atmosphere alone was unnerving—the silence of hundreds of abandoned rooms, the sound of my footsteps echoing across water-damaged carpet, and the chilling drafts moving through busted-out windows. However, things quickly spiralled beyond the ambient into genuine horror. The Whispers: Deep inside one of the former conference wings, I began to pick up faint, disembodied voice whispers on my binaural microphones. They weren't just static; they sounded like anxious, overlapping conversations. What were they saying? Playback analysis in the video will reveal some disturbing possibilities. The Christmas Chamber: The most shocking capture happened in a high-suite chamber on the second floor. Surrounded by mold and water damage, I clearly recorded the sound of faint, vintage Christmas music playing. There was no power, no logical source, and the sound was unmistakable—a tinny, almost toy-like melody that suddenly cut out. Was this a residual haunting, or something more intelligent trying to communicate? The Unseen Presence: Throughout the recording, there are unexplainable shifts in temperature, sudden, heavy thuds from floors above or below, and moments where the sound muffles dramatically, as if an unseen force passed directly over the sensitive ASMR mics. The Credibility: I used high-sensitivity binaural microphones designed to capture nuanced sound for ASMR, making these chilling audio anomalies crystal clear. Every single unexplained noise and piece of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) is presented with raw, unedited footage and audio for you to judge. This location, already on the demolition list and rife with dark history, proved to be one of the most actively haunted places I've ever dared to explore.
