I have seen other wall climbing bots but none quite like mine so i thought i would put this out there. PLEASE let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! READ MORE BELOW!! WARNING: Piloting this bot may require some practice, if you don't use the thrusters properly, it will send you flying out of control. Air maneuvers require you to pulse your thrusters in sequence. This can take some getting used to. ***************************************************************************** Special Controls: SPACEBAR: raise the front end of the bot to climb a face too steep to roll onto. If you are in the air this will cause a back flip motion. Pulse the spacebar to control direction of flight. SHIFT: stabilizes (and slows) the bot for sharp turns without flipping. Hold while on a wall to stick to the wall. Pulse in conjunction with spacebar and W to control flight. S+SPACEBAR: used to right yourself if stuck on your front end. ***************************************************************************** In the interest of keeping the bot light enough to perform these maneuvers, this bot is not armored in any way. You must use stealth and mobility to survive. Keep your eyes open, if they see you first you are dead. In many cases you can use the extreme mobility of this bot to get behind your enemy without their knowledge. Tips: -- Holding shift will stick you to the wall, pulse it as you go forward to climb. Hold shift as you come over the top of the cliff to ensure that you do not take off. -- While you CAN climb on the boundaries of the map, you are very visible and are an extremely easy target while doing so. I would avoid it in most cases. -- If firing from on top of a mountain, you can back up onto the backside of the mountain to reload in safety. -- This mobility not only provides more opportunities for attack but also many more places to take shelter from fire. --If aimed by a rail cannon while on a wall, you can use spacebar to eject off of the wall and then shift to fly and spin out of the way. --While on mountains or plateaus, try not to attack from the same spot twice, 90% of the time enemies keep their eyes trailed on where you were, if you change positions you can attack unharmed while they watch your previous position (if you still have your jammer). --Keep your rails aimed away from where you are looking as to not give away your position with the laser sight. Keeping them aimed at the ground in front of you is pretty safe. --Do not attempt to fly (accurately) if damage to the bot has made your mass or thrust asymmetrical. --You can glide pretty well off of cliffs --To do the back flip jump showed in the video, use spacebar as you leave the cliff, then use shift when you are upside down.
