Jaguar XJS V12 Spark Plug, Distributor Cap Replacement

While waiting for some more belts, I conquered my fears and tackled ignition. In the previous videos I had a lot of gunk and debris all in my Vee holding me back from starting part 2 of the XJS project. I took a few days to clean out the spark plug wells, soak the plugs in PB Blaster for ease of removal, and finally today, I got 7/12 spark plugs replaced. I got OEM NGK spark plugs, gapped at 0.025” To gain access required removing cruise control bellows, I deleted mine all together, undoing the AC compressor and tilting it forward, gaining access to the first two spark plugs. Firing order is almost fool proof as the distributor is labeled, and the old wires distinguished each bank (A and B) by the cylinder #. Easy. You can also match the length of wires and go from there.
