I made the short journey from my hotel to Heathrow T5 on the underground. Then had a walk through the terminal to get my bearings before heading to the South Galleries Lounge for a spot of breakfast and some pre-flight beverages. After 2 hours af drinking and eating as much as I could handle, I checked the screens to see my flight was departing from a gate just downstairs from the lounge. Once onboard the Club Europe curtain was only pushed back to the 7th row, I was sat in row 8. I asked the crew if they were moving it back to which they replied with 'Yes, once everyone is onboard' and to their credit they sorted it very quickly, moving it back all the way to row 13! The Middle tray table/drinks tray that blocks the middle seat in business class was pulled up from under the seat to make it feel less like economy. Once airborne the crew were fantastic and attentive, as expected on BA. There was an older gentleman who seemed a little confused about a few things regarding the inflight service and the younger crew member was excellent at reassuring him and making sure he had everything he needed. All whilst making sure everyone else was attended to. Top marks for her and the rest of the crew there! Once at 34,000ft we passed overhead Nottingham, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Carlisle and Glasgow where we started our descent towards Inverness, quickly turning right once we passed Glasgow. We then descended over the Cairngorms National Park giving us excellent views of the mountains and hills. We then turned left over the North Sea and approached Inverness, landing onto runway 23. We disembarked and I was at the bus stop ready to board within 5 minutes.
