Part 1 of ? My first game of GMT Games No Retreat! The Russian Front 1941 - 1945. Game was played solo, but without any solitaire rules. I begin by playing the 5 turn short scenario of Barbarossa and then simply continue playing once the end of that scenario is reached, to see how far I can get! Not surprisingly, I made some mistakes, as in... In early turns, using the Axis CRT for the Axis in snow and long winter turns - I should have used the Soviet CRT. In early turns, using the Axis CRT for the Soviets - I forgot there is a separate CRT for the Soviets. In early turns, incorrect deducting victory points from the Axis when red events occurred (e.g. Pearl Harbor) - these are added to the Soviets VPs, not deducted from the Axis. But I did notice this finally when it came time to decide if the Axis had won the 5 turn scenario.
