I have an aluminum Pokelit which is one of my favourite AA flashlights, so thought I'd make a quick review of this one too. • What you get in the box: lanyard, USB-C charging cable, 14500 battery, spare o-rings, manual • Comparison with aluminum Pokelit AA Overall Construction, LED, lens, bezel and reflector • Bare titanium - heavier than the aluminum version but not by much. It'll be much more durable and hold up nicely to scratches, and bumps which I find to add character to non-anodised lights. IP68 • Nichia 519A 90 CRI, 5000K, 500 lumens in this light. • Alkaline/Ni-MH cells also work. UI - modes • Half press to preview LMH. Full click to lock in. Mode memory. Performance - total output, beam profile, longevity, practicality • Ceiling bounce test, CRI, CCT • The beam profile is one of my favs - perfectly circular hotspot with a wide flood. Acebeam has nailed it. Considerations • Heavier than the aluminium version, and heats up faster too. The aluminium one should perform better, all things being equal. • Significantly more pricey than the aluminium version. But… titanium, right? • 'only' 500 lumens - which is actually plenty of light for more purposes. I use my reylight pineapple mini with lower specs than this light and use it constantly around the house and outside sometimes and it gets the job done. It's also high CRI output. Verdict • This is one of my favorite AA EDC flashlights - it's built like a tank, looks awesome, and is bright enough to get most jobs done.
