Artis Wodehouse pianolizes (foot-pumps) C. Luckyth Roberts important ragtime composition, The Junk Man Rag as arranged/played by "Stanford Robar" on a 1912 foot-pump player piano. Stanford Robar was a pseudonymn adopted by Leland Stanford Roberts (1884–1949) the vice-president of the QRS Music Roll Company, who recorded hundreds of piano rolls under his name and also the pseudonym Stanford Robar. The roll -- seen in the video -- contains a dotted line indicating dynamic inflections from loud to soft that could be added by the pianolist as they played through the roll.
