My Desk Setup for Programming (Computer Science Student on a Budget)

Check out my NEW AND IMPROVED desk setup:    • Ergonomic Desk Setup for Computer Programm...   I ~FINALLY~ got a desk and got some important equipment on it that turns me into a PRODUCTIVE WORKHORSE. I am an MIT Computer Science Masters student, and I used to work from the dining table :( In this video, I go over the things that I got for my desk to help me code better and more efficiently. Here's the short list: monitor, laptop stand, keyboard, mouse, lamp, and wrist pads. The total for all of this was approximately $250, which is really NOT BAD for a nice setup. I splurged a little on my wrist pads and all, but you could get away with just a monitor and lamp for ~125, monitor/lamp/keyboard/mouse for ~140. Monitor - I was hoping to get the HP VH240a, which was a bestseller on amazon for a while, and it was $110. However, I ended up getting the LG 27MK600M-B instead for $170. I like both of them! Laptop stand - I like the laptop stand so there's some sense of continuity between my screens, otherwise the monitor feels too high for the laptop screen almost https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07... Keyboard/mouse - I got wired ones because they're cheaper.. I also don't have the link for my keyboard since I literally found it on the street lol. SPACE wrist pads - Yep I splurged for the space design but honestly anything that pads and supports your wrists should work for this purpose lol. LED lamp - Always good to have a lamp for less eye strain lol I like LED ones because you don't have to worry about changing the bulb.
