Here we have an "EWiaGI" video on the song "The Arsenic Cake" from 1968 cartoon classic Asterix & Cleopatra. This song is one of the most interesting and memorable takes on the trope of a musical number done by villain, because rather than about their evil, the characters are singing a recipe for a cake they'll use to murder the Princess Cleopatra herself! And then they'll frame up Asterix & Obelix (& Panoramix/Getafix the Druid, & Dogmatix, their dog). The lyrics of the song are just the icing (pun not intended!), with all those types of poisons being mentioned... If that wasn't enough, in various dubs the lyrics mention stronger poisons, more disgusting trash, and even hard drugs! Well done, Asterix & Obelix... I'm also aware, that not ALL of the words were illustrated by the images, but the lyrics actually repeat some less notable words, such as "with", "add", or "the".
