This session highlights the long-standing partnership between Bayer, the World Health Organization, and the WHO Foundation. For more than two decades, the collaboration has supported global health efforts through essential medicine donations, financial and technical assistance, and digital solutions that strengthen access to care in low-income countries. The partnership focuses on three priority areas: neglected tropical diseases, self-care, climate, and health. These areas reflect urgent global needs and the potential for impactful, scalable solutions. The session explores how joint initiatives translate into improved access, stronger health systems, and better outcomes for vulnerable communities. It also examines how participatory research and tailored implementation strategies contribute to sustainable progress. Speakers discuss how public-private partnerships can accelerate advances toward the Sustainable Development Goals. They share insights into models that work, lessons learned, and opportunities to expand impact across global health programs. Contributions come from Ariane de Hoog (Bayer), Claus Runge (Bayer Pharmaceuticals), Anil Soni (WHO Foundation), Daniella Foster (Bayer Consumer Health), and Jeremy Farrar (WHO). Their perspectives offer a clear view of how coordinated action can drive measurable improvements in global health. The World Health Summit is the leading global platform bringing together science, politics, civil society, and the private sector to catalyze collaborative and innovative solutions for key health priorities.
