This tutorial explains what vertex colors are in your mesh, how you can paint vertex colors or vertex alpha (transparency) in Outfit Studio, and the correct vs incorrect set up of vertex colors in the NIF. This includes showing you how to fix the Vertex Desc flags that Outfit Studio (v5.6.3) incorrectly inserts after you perform certain functions in the program.
