The Hollywood Bowl was turned from a locally-sourced spalted holly blank, and then detailed with a festive Christmas holly motif around its inner rim. The holly details were added using a laser engraver in conjunction with the Simon Hope Woodturning Tools index tool for easy, even spacing. After pewing the decorations, the bowl was finished with food-safe tung oil.
