We had foil surfing freighter waves on our list for a long time so when Anson Brooks reached out via Facebook (@halflifet.5) and asked Half-Life if we would like to ride the hydrofoil and chase freighters we couldn't resist. The art of 'pirating' a wave on a hydrofoil takes some time to learn. It was this experience that helped us with our foil surfing and ability to 'steal' waves as you've seen on our Instagram account @halflifet.5 When you go from the lake into the ocean where seaweed, logs, and other obstacles appear, adventure is sure to follow.
