'Trackdown' - The TRUMP Episode

UPDATED VERSION: Here is the full episode with the subtitles corrected:    • A Conman Named Trump   Full episode of “The End of the World”, which aired back in 1958 on the TV series “Trackdown.” In this story, a conman named Trump comes to town, and scares everyone with talk of an impending disaster. He claims to be the only person who can save them – by building a wall. Trump also threatens to sue when he is accused of dishonesty, but by the end of the episode he is arrested for fraud. Shortly afterwards, he is shot by his co-conspirator Sheriff Chet Farrow, but it is unclear if he dies. I decided to upload this episode in full because so many people have mentioned it in the comments over the years. It's truly amazing how much the character of “Walter Trump” resembles Donald J. Trump. He even physically looks a lot like Fred Trump. This line seems especially eerie: “When we were kids we were all afraid of the dark. Then we grew up and we weren’t afraid anymore, but it’s funny how a big lie can make us all kids again.” (9:14 mark) There are also several other lines that could easily apply to DJT. Please note: I was forced to mute the sound for 25 seconds at the 18:55 mark, but added subtitles so you can read the dialog.
