There are quite a few good reasons to consider upgrading your car's differential. One might be that you've modified the output to the point your stock setup no longer maintains traction. Your stock differential might be chattering and failing, making a replacement necessary. Your Mustang must have a 31-spline axle to work with this limited slip differential. You can install this upgrade on all 1986 to 2014 Ford Mustangs with the V8 engine, or 2011 to 2014 Ford Mustangs with the V6. Durable Design. This limited slip differential measures 8.8 inches in diameter and features carbon discs for excellent durability and heat management.
