Ford Barra Billet Oil Pump Gears and Backing Plate | Assembly and Clearance
In this video I go over some of the necessary clearances to reference when assembling billet oil pump gears into the factory ford barra oil pump housing. This video also shows the soon available 'The Barra Specialist' oil pumps in their pre and post assembly stages. I am now running these gears on three cars with great success, in the next few months this figure will likely be double! Blue thread locker should be applied to either the screws or housing prior to torquing the backing plate, in this instance I applied some to the threads of the housing prior to torque the plate.
