The Radiance is the final boss in Hollow Knight. In this video I will go over all of the different moves that The Radiance will throw at you and how to counter. The radiance lore: The Radiance is a higher being who created the moth tribe and ruled over parts of Hallownest before The Pale King arrived. She is described as a light similar to Essence, but much brighter still. She is also said to represent "nature". In her Dream Nail dialogue, the Radiance suggests that the Void is her ancient enemy and that she refuses to be consumed by it. Beam Burst: The Radiance will fire multiple beams of light from her face, 3 times. Move out of the way just slightly Sword Burst: The Radiance will shoot swords in a similar way to the beams. again just move out of the way slightly Vertical swords will come from the sky and you will need to find an opening. Horizontal swords will come from the side and you will need to jump through a major gap or dash your way through a small opening Light Wall: The only way to get past the light wall is to dash by with the shade cloak to avoid damage Tracking orbs: These will get you over and over if you are not careful to dash towards the orbs. Floor spikes will happen in phases 2 and 3 and will be a major pain. You can down strike to pogo off the spikes as needed in a pinch.
