We continue exploring ChengDu City and will visit the Jin Li Ancient Street (锦里古街). Jinli Street was the most renowned center for producing baldachins—rich, ornate fabrics as early as the Qin Dynasty (221–206 BC). During the Shu Kingdom period (221–263), it also stood out as one of the busiest commercial districts. As you stroll along the narrow street, you’ll find yourself surrounded by traditional shops selling lacquerware, folk handicrafts and paintings by renowned artists.
