Pili, Camarines Sur March 7, 2025 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. rallied the Bicolanos for a landslide win in support of the Administration’s senatorial slate in the upcoming midterm elections, underscoring the coalition’s commitment to development, peace and national sovereignty when he led the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’ Rally in Pili, Camarines Sur. “Mga kababayan, malinaw po ang direksyon ng aming grupo ng Alyansa na ito. Ito ay para sa kaunlaran, para sa kapayapaan, at hindi para ito sa pag-aaway-away at sa pag-aapi,” he said. The President highlighted the coalition’s dedication to preserving the interests of Filipinos and the country’s sovereign rights. “Hindi po natin isusuko ni isang pulgada ng ating teritoryo at hindi tayo kailangan sumunod sa kahit na sino pang dayuhan. Tayo po ay may ganap na karapatan at dapat makinabang sa yaman sa ating sariling bayan,” he stated. On the economic front, the President emphasized the importance of legitimate employment over illegal operations, such as Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), which he described as breeding grounds for crime and violence. “Ang solusyon po ay tunay na trabaho, kabuhayan, suporta sa maliliit na manggagawa, sa maliliit na mga – ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda,” he said, concluding his remarks by calling for everyone’s full support in the midterm elections. The ‘Alyansa’ unites the country’s five (5) leading political Parties: the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP) and National Unity Party (NUP).
