After I was at the erika blossom two weeks ago, I drove to the Leopoldsteinersee to fly my long range drone there. I was wondering if I could fly across the lake and up to the west summit of the Pfaffenstein. The problem is, the higher you fly, the slower it looks and you tend to fly too fast, thus using too much energy. On top of that, I had a headwind on the return flight. Unfortunately I didn't make it all the way back. In the end, the voltage dropped very quickly and I wasn't able to land in time.
