Ramadan is not just about hunger and thirst — it is about patience, sincerity, and drawing closer to Allah. Fasting like the Prophet ﷺ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Eat Suhūr, for there is great blessing in it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari) He warned against continuing sinful behavior while fasting: “Allah does not need the fast of one who does not abandon false speech or acting according to it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari) #$@&%*! I am not going to react; I’m fasting. The Prophet ﷺ advised patience during fasting: “If anyone abuses or argues with you, simply say: ‘I am fasting.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari) When the sun set, the Prophet ﷺ would hasten to break his fast with dates and water and recite the du‘a for breaking the fast. Sharing food brings immense reward. He encouraged feeding those who fast: “Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break their fast will receive the same reward, without anything being reduced from the fasting person’s reward.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi) 🌙 Message of This Story This Ramadan journey reminds us: ✨ patience is stronger than hunger ✨ gratitude is deeper than thirst ✨ sincerity brings peace to the heart ✨ small acts of kindness carry great reward When Ramadan feels difficult, remember: Allah sees your intention. Your patience is worship. Your struggle is reward. Ramadan doesn’t just change our routine — it changes our hearts. 🤍 Alhamdulillah for the strength to continue. 🤲 May Allah allow us to remain better even after Ramadan.
