Welcome back to the road! This time, hitchhiking through Ecuador turned out to be a bit harder — and we got to see a different side of life on the road. From Cuenca to Baños, the Andes greeted us in their winter mood, and more than once we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere, unsure how easily the journey would continue. Keeping the trip moving wasn’t always easy. But along the way, we enjoyed the journey and discovered an Ecuador beyond the touristy places like Baños or El Pailon de Diablo waterfall.
