As The Dawn Fades - Generative Ambient Modular (Oxi One, Rings, Morphagene, Lubadh, Magneto)

Back to basics with a very simple generative patch, using only Rings as the main source/oscillator. Also my first patch using the Oxi One's new and awesome Matriceal mode for the generative sequence, using only one track. Patch notes: Oxi One is the only sequencer, using one track of Matriceal mode set to minor pentatonic, with random triggering, generative interval and octave selection and probability over triggers at a slow tempo of around 40bpm. Oxi is sequencing Rings, which is the only oscillator used. It has its Position, Shape and Brightness very subtly modulated by LFOs and Random sources. Rings output then goes through Morphagene, where a short recording was made, played back an octave down in reverse and mixed with the original Rings signal. The output of this goes through Magneto for some tape delay and wow/flutter before heading to Lubadh where yet another short recording was made, this one also set to reverse but an octave up for some higher frequency shimmering/glitter. Another output from Morphagene goes into the FX Aid for some very long tailed reverb treatment, full wet. One more copied output from Rings goes into the Nebulae V2, for yet another recording, with this one playing back a much slower version and an octave down. The outputs from Nebulae, Morphagene/Dry Rings mix, FX Aid reverb and Lubadh each have their own dedicated stereo output direct through the ES-9 into Bitwig Studio for mixing, EQ, pan, and a little additional FX where needed.
