So, it's the ideal setting for me, where I feel I'm constantly learning but I'm also working together along with some of my best friends. [Athletic Trainer 2] You've got to make work fun. You've got to love what you do. If you don't love what you do, there's no point in doing it. So, the relationship that we have, it's very family oriented, very team oriented and we're here to have fun but at the same time, it's also patient care and give the best service that we can to the patients. [Athletic Trainer 1] For me, patient care is probably what really keeps me happy. We really get to know a lot of them because if that patient does have surgery, we might be seeing them for at least another six or eight visits after that. So, we get to know them, we get to know their family a lot of times, and we also get to know what their expectations are as a patient. To me, this is one of the best physician groups to work for possibly within the country. So, I'm very fortunate to be working with some of the best and that's one of my reasons why I came over to Baptist Health. [Athletic Trainer 3] They love educating. They teach us so many things that we would probably not run into on the traditional setting. We learn about surgeries and new rehab techniques and they're always willing to expose us to that. [Athletic Trainer 1] The beauty of this for me that I had two small boys is that, hey I can work Monday through Friday, set amount of time and if I want to work on the weekend, I can to make that extra income but I don't need to. So, my weekends go right back to my boys and my family. And that's something that I was lacking before. [Athletic Trainer 2] You come here, you work as a physician, you can move on the different tiers of athletic training. There's room for advancement, you can go into administration side of the athletic training world. [Athletic Trainer 1] I feel like I'm always continuously learning. Every day, I learn something different, something new and I think as an athletic trainer, who's been practicing for as many years as I have, it's kind of cool to still be learning at this point.
