Authentic African Food & Dancing | Boma Dinner Zimbabwe

We experienced a traditional Boma Dinner in Livingstone, Zimbabwe, and it turned into one of the most memorable food nights of our entire trip. The Boma Dinner is a buffet-style evening featuring authentic local Zimbabwean dishes, all cooked with traditional ingredients and flavors. Alongside the food, there’s live drumming, singing, and traditional dancing, creating an incredible atmosphere that feels more like a celebration than just dinner. We tried a wide variety of local foods, including mopane worms, one of Zimbabwe’s most famous delicacies. Definitely outside our comfort zone, but a must-try cultural experience! From amazing food to great energy, music, and nonstop fun, this was hands down one of the best cultural experiences in Zimbabwe. If you’re visiting Livingstone or Victoria Falls, this is something you shouldn’t miss.
