One of these things you might stop at but probably not. Come along with me to visit these little spots in Austin that you might miss otherwise. A Historical marker on the side of HWY50. Abandoned mining equipment. The Girdley Store. The Bert T. Gandolfo community park & Stokes Castle. I finish up my visit to Austin by going to a handful of random places off the beaten path. Stokes Castle is more popular than the 3 historic churches I believe. There are a few videos of folks sneaking past the fence to go inside, you can find them on YT.
