How’s it going everyone. This video isn’t a diagnostic video but more of just a quick demonstration. When it comes to diagnostics, you want to be on the right trail as soon as possible. This will allow you to be more proficient in your trade. If you are suspecting an engine mechanical fault, this test set up will give you an excellent look at the health of the engine you are working with in a matter of minutes. With the use of a pulse sensor(s) in conjunction with a relative compression you can view low cylinder contribution and which part of the engine you would want to look towards. I strongly recommend going to training, watch videos, or read books on how to properly read these waveforms.
