YTD rainfall 1737mm. The house is finished, blessed, celebrated, and occupied. Jubaedah really doesn't like me leaving the house when she is not around, in case something happens to me. Yesterday she went to Panimbang with her daughter, Lise, granddaughters Auara (aka Bilkis, Lise's daughter) Arsipa Sal Sabila (aka Salsa, Dadang's daughter), and Jubaedah's son Dadang. Jubaedah never learned to ride a scooter other than as a passenger. Yet another case of her lack of self confidence preventing her doing something. So Dadang is her scooter pilot. The ladies go to some salon for skin treatments. That can take a long time, as they have to wait their turn. Dadang comes back so he can get on with stuff, and goes back to collect them at the end of their stay. Lise rides an electric scooter. Yesterday, on the way home Jubaedah was riding with Dadang, and Bilkis & Salsa were riding with Lise. Something on Lise's scooter broke, and dumped them all on the road. Jubaedah saw this and panicked, so she leaped off the back of Dadang's scooter to get to them before he came to a halt. So she went down too. The granddaughters were fine. Jubaedah hurt her knee. Lise face planted into a rock, just missing her right eye. She now has a shiner, with her right eye swollen shut. I wonder if we will now have any luck persuading her that wearing a helmet would be a good idea? I am interested to see what Asra's plan for the rice factory extension is.
