SELLING MY WHITE 1960A MARSHALL CABINET, my last one. It had Celestion G12 Classic Lead model speakers, which are 80 watt each. It is a heavy-gauge hand-wired cab. Once a mid-1980's JCM800 Anniversary, it was missing the tags when I found it. Manager tests it with a JCM800 reissue, so together it looks like a set. It's the only white 4X12 they have & it was mine! Last I saw 5/1/2013 it is still there, listed for $550. Check GC website under "used." Reason I sold it to Guitar Center was just the need to get it out of my place for space. These come originally with Celestion G12 Classic Lead Series which are 80 watt speakers. I like the G12 Leads because they have greater efficiency in the midrange, and don't "flubber" out at high volume levels like the 75's. They also seem to have greater treble-range than Vintage 30's and less growl. I've seen many Rustoleum-painted cabinets, and you can tell they are fake because of the gloss paint. Also, you can scratch-test a suspect cab with your fingernail on the back - if it's real you can't lift anything off it. And there will not be any black areas in-between tolex grains. Don't use painted cabs - unless you can get them for $100 bucks.
