In this video, you'll discover How to install reinforcing mesh before laying concrete on a new floor on an extension that the TDD lads did some weeks ago. Firstly let's understand what is reinforcing mesh, reinforcing mesh is needed because concrete can crack, by laying reinforcing mesh first it forms a foundation, and when the concrete is laid on top, the reinforcing mesh helps to bind and bond it by adhering to the mesh, in essence, it makes the floor stronger and with the added strength of steel underneath it helps to distribute the weight, for example on a driveway the reinforcing mesh helps distribute the weight of a car and helps to avoid the concrete cracking.
