Full disassembly and reassembly of a Minolta MD 50mm f2 lens. Lens is disassembled to access the diaphragm, optics, and mechanical components mostly individually. This is a later Minolta lens, so many of the components are well integrated. Specifically, the diaphragm and inner part of the focusing mechanism are a single piece, which makes cleaning the aperture blades slightly more difficult. However, even with the integrated components and cheaper materials, repairing this lens is not too difficult. It just cannot be repair as extensively as the MC Rokkors.
