All of the clips in the video were filmed on Friday September 3rd, 2021. This video summarizes the seventh day of my solo canoeing adventure on the Rideau Canal. Strava for Day 7: / strava In this episode, I begin from my campsite at the Burritt's Rapids Lockstation (Lock 17) and paddled northeast along the Rideau River to Rideau River Provincial Park. After arriving and setting up my campsite, I headed across the river and paddled up the Kemptville Creek to make a visit to the community of Kemptville. For the first time on this trip, I didn't take the canoe through any locks for the entire day. I paddled under a total of 4 bridges including the Becketts Landing Bridge (Merlyn Wilson Rd), County Rd 43. The municipalities I paddled through include the City of Ottawa and the municipality of North Grenville, which is part of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. After returning from running errands and eating dinner in Kemptville, I spent the evening camping at Rideau River Provincial Park. Campsite Overnight Oats: • Campsite Overnight Oats - Just Add Water!
