https://lawmanguitars.com/product/196... Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting.. A really rare and beautiful RED 1967 Yamaha SA30T Thinline Guitar with the original Hard Shell Case! This guitar came to us without one original knob and Truss rod cover. We got it back together respectfully with other MIJ guitar parts. Check out this beautiful Red finished Maple guitar! WOW… These guitars were made in the Yamaha Factory in Hamamatsu Japan. The first electric guitars from Yamaha were introduced in 1966 and followed with the thinline models, like this one, in 1967. These electric guitars were engineered and designed from the ground up and many of the components were produced in-house. Yamaha made a full line of instruments during the 1960's, that were mostly sold in Japan to compete with imports from other countries. Our Tech did all the work and set this cool guitar up with awesome playing low action with a new set of 10 guage strings. Great tone selectors from the 3 way tone pots. Different settings which give you a multiple supply of cool tones for this awesome playing and sounding guitar. This guitar has two really cool features. It has plastic inserts inside the sound holes. That helps lessen feedback issued from the semi hollow guitar. It also introduced a blender feature that works from the third knob. In the middle pickup selector setting, you can blend the amount of each pickup to give you a variety of sounds. Very cool feature. The guitar has Yamaha branded tuners, Yamaha branded Whammy tailpiece and all other parts original to the guitar but the one knob and truss rod cover. The guitar has a serial number pressed into the end of the fret board. Similar to Mosrites. They did that as well back in the 1960's. No way to tell a date from the number. Very versatile, cool looking, and sound Made in Japan guitar that is very high quality. It has dings and scratches as its now over 52 years old. Nothing substantial. All superficial items. The guitar is in very good vintage shape!!Check out the original Hard Shell Case. Also really great shape. All latches, hinges and handle are present and operating. Really nice Blue Plush interior with no musty smells. Really really nice case. It is also branded with a Yamaha raised logo plate on the case. No doubts about it being the original!! Beautiful guitar but vintage and old so its sold as-is no returns. However, I have been hand picking my customers instruments for over 20 years now and they all loved the guitars I found them. This beautiful Yamaha will certainly not be an exception. Thanks for checking out our cool guitars. Lawman Mike at Lawman Guitars
