Ryobi p661 Cordless PEX Ring Crimper

This is why I don't recommend this new tool from Ryobi. I really wanted to like it. It is cheaper than Milwaukee for the bare tool, but that cheap quality comes through in it's use. My main problem is with the die inserts and the slop in them that causes imperfect crimps. The dies also get stuck on the rings when you crimp and pull the insert out of the Jaws because of it. If you're a DIYer then this tool won't save you much, if any, time compared to manual crimpers because most of your time is used up in the planning, not the crimping, and if you're a pro plumber the time you "save" with this tool is overridden by the bad crimps it makes. Ryobi needs to redo it and try again.
