They were friendly, attentive and ensured you were taken care of. The only downside was they took a while to answer any cabin calls, but that wasn’t really a big deal to me. Cabin: 7/10 The cabin was clean and was generally in a good state. However, it was definitely showing its age. Because it’s a B777, that doesnt really come as a shock. But bear in mind when flying Qatar’s B777, expect a dated canin. Eg. IFE remote, old interior design (except seats) etc… Seat: 10/10 The seat on Qatar Airways was amazing! It was nicely padded, had a great adjustable headrest and had outstanding legroom! The most I’ve even seen on any airline! The tray table was clean, adjustable and stable. Universal and USB power outlet were provided so your personal devices will stay fully charged throughout the flight. IFE: 10/10 You wont go board on Qatar Airways! Over 4,000 movies to watch will keep you entertained throughout your flight! Some good movie options too! Meal: 8/10 The meal service was great! We were served Chicken Tikka which was nicey seasoned and was a good proportion. The second mea service, a chicken pastry, was also not too bad. However, I found that the pastry itself was a little doughy and not properly cooked through. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. Cleanliness: 10/10 The cabin upon boarding was in a good state. It smelt good and was clean. The lavatories were also kept cleaned throughout the flight. Website: 7/10 The website was generally pretty good except for one matter. Codeshared flights. We booked a Malaysia Airlines flight through Qatar Airways, and as an avgeek, the only massive downfall to this is that you weren’t able to book your seats for the Malaysian flights. You had to call Malaysia Airlines, and even the couldn’t do it and told us to contact Qata Airways, who couldn’t do it either. It’s a little over the place. But the fact this was a small matter, doesn’t mean the website was a huge disaster. The website was very easy to navigate through and got the job of booking my flight done very well! Customer Service: 7/10 The customer service was generally very good. However, like I mentioned above, it was ridiculous that neither Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines coulf access the seat map for the Malaysia Airlines flight even though they are codeshared. It just brings inconvenience to passengers whe this happens. I was slightly bummed that they couldn’t help me with that. Value for money: 8/10 In total I payed £2,038 for a round trip from Kuala Lumpur to London via Doha. It came cheaper for many other options such as Malaysia Airines and Singapore Airines. For what you got, I think that it was a pretty great deal! Total Ratings: 86/100 Thanks for watching! :D
