New Deadly Lizard!

New Deadly Lizard! Today we have a lot going on, we have some snake building updates as well as some venomous snake calls for Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnakes and we are going to introduce you to a new animal here at the sanctuary! We were recently gifted a Venomous Gila monster! This is one of two medically significant venomous lizards Native to North and Central America. Until this year there were no recorded fatalities from Gila monsters in the last 100 years but that just changed! Despite being venomous and now one fatality, Gila monsters are not a threat to people if left alone, they are shy and inactive and rarely seen by people. Similar things can be said about the rattlesnakes we frequently work with here in south Florida. Hope everyone enjoys the new updates and the new animals.
