Gives a very low profile and isn't going to get in the way of the lens. It is directional and comes with a bag, two leads, a foamie and a deadcat. All for just over £20. It's not the best mic, but I do think that it is a very good value package that would be handy when you're filming around other people. One thing that I've found with bigger mics is that they do tend to attract attention. This one doesn't. So although it might not be the best, it is a handy thing to have in the bag.
