Blepharoplasty recovery update day 7 to week 4 | after stitches removal So week one is over and the progress after slows down quite a bit so here is week 1 to week 4. After my stitches were taken out my eyes felt so much better right away but were crazy swollen. Over these 4 weeks i slept with my head elevated and used a warm compress every morning to reduce swelling and soothe my eyes, this worked a treat! They are settling more and more now but the scars are still not flattened out, this is what takes the longest to happen and i imagine will happen slowly over the next few weeks. I will do another update and let you all know how i get on when i fly to Florida plus how they fair in the humid hot weather out there too. If you are thinking of getting this done then i suggest you join some facebook groups etc as these have been invaluable to me for just asking questions, finding support and community. some people don't understand why you might want something like this done but the ladies and gents in these groups are nothing but supportive.
