As the first generation of “AI natives,” today’s college students will help set the course for how artificial intelligence affects humanity, the visionary computer scientist Fei-Fei Li told incoming Princeton transfer students and members of the Class of 2028 at Princeton’s Pre-read Assembly on September 1, 2024. Li, is the author of the 2024 Pre-read book, “The Worlds I See: Curiosity, Exploration, and Discovery at the Dawn of AI." She is a Princeton alumna from the Class of 1999. She immigrated to the U.S. from China during high school and flourished as an undergraduate at Princeton while also helping run her family’s dry-cleaning business in Parsippany, New Jersey.
