A Class 180 in First Hull Trains livery speeds toward Grantham having just overtaken the then to pass Class 158 in East Midlands Trains livery, heading in the same direction. Then, a pair of Class 43s and coaches fully pictured in Virgin Trains livery passes again heading to Grantham, before another Class 180, this time in Grand Central Trains livery, follows behind it. The other direction is Peterborough. Locals have wanted this crossing closed for the past 70 years or so as it is on a Primary Road (Previously the A16!) and it causes long jams. The most trains that passed here was 6 when I was here and there was probably a mile tailback. The footbridge has very low walls and has great views of the track North. There is a railway named pub on one side of the crossing and an ex-Signalbox across the road from it. There are some freight tracks and sidings for a huge Concrete and Tarmac industrial site as well as the Tallington Crossovers, on which one freight train derailed a couple of years ago and blocked the crossing. Bloody trains. Type: MCB-CCTV Route: East Coast Main Line Location: Lincolnshire, England, UK Train 1: 2:47 Train 2: 3:02 Closure 2: 3:22 Train 3: 6:17 Train 4: 8:45
