Today I'm testing out Dyson's new Airwrap using the brush attachment on wet hair for a blow out. And nope, this video isn't sponsored! So what did I think? Please note, this product is like a hair dryer and styler, it is not a flat iron and is meant to be used on wet or damp hair. My hair is wet in the video - I washed my hair, applied my heat protectant & oil, and had my hair in the buns a few hours before styling as I was waiting for UPS. When my hair is in a bun it basically does not dry - this is common with kinky textured hair. Update 10/18: I've been testing the curl barrels and honestly, they give dope curls on flat ironed hair either dampened or dry but I need to do a wear test as they fall. Last night, I slept with my hair out by mistake and my hair was super frizzy in the morning - this would usually end my flat iron job but I hit each side of my head with the brush attachment again and it smoothed my hair out. That's a major win for me as I try to keep my hair flat ironed for at least a couple of weeks and work out often. I posted the before and after in my IG stories. Updates: I tried out the curl barrels but wasn't too impressed with them - however, I know that a lot of people said there is a bit of a learning curve (which I could tell using different sides and sizes) so I will continue tweaking and film. I ended up flat ironing my hair with my Instyler and it only took about 20 min! Totally unheard of for me - I was able to use bigger sections because my hair was already pretty straight and I wasn't obsessed with getting the roots. I'm really impressed; this ended up basically cutting my styling time in half and made it a lot easier.
