Tadakatsu was doing the "REEEEE" meme years before it was cool. Time to wash out the bad taste of playing as Yoshihiro with playing as Tadakatsu, the hands down best character in the game. This video is a little shorter than the others because Tadakatsu is so damn good he can just clear stages faster. Tadakatsu is mostly the same as he was in SB1, but he's even better. His S-string and Basara are still ridiculously powerful and wide range attacks so that's great. His specials are now able to activate without having to use Basara to enable them, so you can increase his speed whenever you want or add armor or what have you. He doesn't have as many outright attacks as a lot of people, but his S-string and Basara is really all he needs anyways. His power ups also change how his other attacks are done slightly, such as giving his thrust attack special A LOT more range if his jetpack is activated. Tadakatsu's story is also one big joke, where Ieyasu just keeps getting kidnapped and you have to save him over and over again. The most amusing part about this whole thing is that when you go to rescue Ieyasu, he's in the background of the enemy commander's intro cutscene, just constantly screaming for Tadakatsu. Also I friggin' LOVE his intro cutscene where he launches from a catapult like he's the Gundam departing from the White Base. It's perfect. 1st stage is Okehazama, which is much easier as Tadakatsu because his speed is the best in the game so he can catch up to Yoshimoto no problem. 2nd stage is Motochika's normal stage, which we just did as Yoshihiro. 3rd stage is Xavi's harder stage where we also have to fight Motonari and Yoshihiro. 4th stage is a particularly hard stage against the Takeda. I actually didn't take this one very seriously because I was Tadakatsu and having such an easy time of it, so I just let the calvary run into me. I didn't realize that in this stage there are NO healing items around the map until you get through most of it and open up the storehouse. So this is the only time you see me struggle as him, and it's completely due to my own negligence. Frankly you're better off not fighting the calvary at all and just keeping them off screen so they don't charge you as much. Yukimura is a boss in the middle of the stage, before we even get to reach the storehouse. He's also got a bunch of annoying enemy types around him like the Onimusha guys, calvary, and archers. You can run past him if you want to reach the storehouse, which is indicated by an X on the map. Once you reach it, you have a TON of chests that can give you healing items and more healing items appear around the map so you can backtrack if you must. Then we just need to reach Shingen and beat him to beat the stage. Dunno where the hell Sasuke was for all of this. 5th stage is fighting the Toyotomi at Osaka. We've done it before, but it's been a while since we had to repeat this stage so it was actually kind of fresh. Tadakatsu's ending cutscene is the shortest in the game, it lasts like 4 seconds.
