Glass, Ice, and Motion – A Visual Journey with Canon

In this extraordinary project, supported by Canon Austria, motion, light, and material merge into a unique visual composition. The figure skater was dressed in a breathtaking glass gown designed by Belinda Gredig (Best Outfit Design - Bilbao International Art and Fashion 2024). As she glided across the ice, reflections and transparency created a mesmerizing interplay of light and structure. Directed by Belinda Schönberger (aka belinda films), the cinematography was executed directly on the ice—a technical and physical challenge that allowed for an even more immersive perspective of the performance. The project was shot using the Canon R5C and C300 Mk III, complemented by a carefully curated selection of lenses: the versatile RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z, the high-speed RF 28-70mm F2L USM, the EF 24mm f/1.4 L II USM, and the RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM, along with the Canon EF Primes Bundle (24mm, 50mm, 85mm) and the Canon Legria HF G70. #CanonAustria #CanonGermany #CanonSwitzerland
